In compliance with WHO, our Hanya masks are safe to wear with and without filters. It has 4 separate layers, with one cotton filter layer sewn directly inside the masks. Satin silk on the inner layer to avoid mask-ne (mask acne) because it is soft to our skin. They are sturdy, comfortable, lightweight, and made from cotton-poly blend, with a pocket for adjustable filter. All our masks come in a color matching pouch, and when you are done wearing the mask, you can fold it into a neat little bundle and store it in the included color-matching satin silk pouch. No more wadding up a filthy mask in your pocket or dangling it from the rearview mirror of your car. 

Lightweight: to see if a lightweight mask is effective, the most popular rule of thumb is the light test - hold it up to the sunlight and see if the weave is tight enough to block the light. Our mask blocks almost 90% of the light. 

Medical grade paper-thin filter is inserted and has to be removed when washed. Our mask is safe to be worn even without the filter.

Washing instruction: soak in the water with nontoxic detergent for less than 5 minutes, gentle scrubbing. Dry for at least 10 minutes, hairdryer takes 5 minutes.
