The Chinese New Year – Water Rabbit Selvedge is made from a completely new fabric compared to the previous Chinese New Year models. Unlike its predecessor, this denim is less rigid, but has much more slub texture which will produce better high-contrast vertical fades as it breaks in and conforms to the wearer's body. In addition to its fading properties, the Chinese New Year – Water Rabbit selvedge denim also pays tribute to the Year of the Rabbit in the Chinese Zodiac. The selvedge ID features the traditional Chinese New Year colors of red and gold, and the vegetable-tanned leather patch features custom artwork of a rabbit bursting though water. Cut, sewn, and built in Canada, these jeans are finished with contrast stitching, red pocket bags, and silver metallic buttons and rivets.
