Our classic Plato shirt has been given an extravagant touch with the use of this one-of-a-kind tussah silk fabric that has been woven with uneven textures and beautiful iridescent sheen. Tussah silk differs from typical silk due to its raw appearance, as the fibers are only harvested after the worms have eaten their way out of the cocoon, leaving uneven fiber lengths that is spun to give the fabric its signature look. 

Please note that unlike our sandwashed silk, this tussah silk is more delicate on the surface in comparison. Friction with rough surfaces should be avoided. However as with typical silk fabrics, the fibers are strong and do not tear easily.  

Cleaning instructions: handwash with gentle soap in lukewarm water.
