The Vasa - first made as winter chore coats - has been re-released for warm weather wear. It retains all the features that made the Vasa a functional jacket, namely the multiple pockets that are built into the jacket, and its boxy cut that leaves plenty of room for layering and airflow. 

This silk-cotton blend that I have chosen for the Vasa has an unusual mottled texture that appears deceivingly coarse but is exceedingly comfortable when worn. It has the structure of denim due to its cotton content but the softness of silk, thanks to the ingenuity of modern textile engineers.
