Materials & Maker
This knit was made in Donggaun, China at KK Knitting Factory whom Elk works with through agency Cool Partners International. Cool Partners assist them in the production of their items by working as a liaison between them and the factory. Knitwear production is highly specialized and Cool Partners are actively working with them to source sustainable yarns mostly through UPW and Novatex. Yarns that are not sourced as finished are dyed in a specialist, Government certified dye house with water filtration and recycling systems in place.
