Salmagundi means "a general mixture; a miscellaneous collection." We used a different dyed color for each panel.

For this design, we took our inspiration from patchwork and quilting, in the west, or Boro and sashiko in Japanese garments. Both are practices that start with disparate fabrics, often remnants and create new designs by recombining them in original and unexpected ways.

Please note that because they start with remenants each small batch has a slightly different color pattern, but this batch looks like the first two pictures of the back and front.
