THIS IS A DIGITAL PDF SEWING PATTERN

The Smitten Cropped Jacket is a fabulous mix of traditional & trend. 

Designed for woven fabrics & with a nod towards the classic denim jacket, it features a cropped hemline, full sleeve with wide gathered cuff worn loosely at the wrist & a gently elasticated hem band.

For a more traditional look, we’ve also included a plain hem band & shirt-style sleeve with button-up cuff.

It pairs back beautifully with our popular fit & flare sewing patterns including the Go-To Fit & Flare Dress, Going Places Dress, both our stretch & woven Palazzo Pants sewing patterns & more. It can be dressed up or down, the choice is yours.

    STRETCH FABRIC PATTERN HACK

    If you watched the 'What's In the Pattern' video above, you will have seen the 2 jackets I made using stretch fabric.

    In the 'Get Creative' section of the tutorial, I outline the changes I made to accommodate this stretch fabric to sew a jacket with gathered cuff & hem.

    Please note, this is a woven pattern. As such, i do not provide information on sewing knits.

    ACCESS & DOWNLOAD YOUR SEWING PATTERNS QUICKLY & EASILY: 

    You can access & download your patterns at any time by signing into your account on the website. Here's how:

    1. Sign in to your account on the website. Select 'My Account' or 'My Pattern Library' from the menu. 

    2. Click on the big pink button that says ‘Download Patterns’. This sends you to your pattern library.

    3. Click on the pattern/style you want to download. 

    4. Then click on the file (or files) you wish to download.

    PRINTING: 

    You will find printing details in each tutorial. In most tutorials, this section includes a final layout of the pattern for visual help in joining the pages, a page print guide so you can just print the pattern pages you need, plus printing specs & FAQ. 

    Not sure what setting you should use for printing your pdf sewing pattern? You should find the answer in your Pattern Emporium tutorial in the printing section. But if you can't find it, here are the settings for you.
