Why did I (mosly) switch from traditional hair ties to spiral hair ties? I got tired of the years of broken hairs in a constant state of regrowth around my head. The proof was in the process of letting my hair down at the end of the day and finding zero hairs tangled in the spiral hair tie.

Note: I double up on these and use two to hold my ponytail up.

Bonus: if your hair tie stretches out, simply pop it into a cup of warm water OR blast it with a hairdryer on warm heat to shrink it back to its original size and shape.
