Inner is the same as our previous range - same size, but slightly different weight and feel - different materials inside.

The Chalk White fabric is 55% linen, 45% cotton. It is a good quality upholstery fabric. Because the fabric is white, the KLAY label sewn to the inner cushion can be seen through the cover.

Klay cushions are meticulously hand made, using high quality materials and traditional craft techniques. They are designed and made to be enjoyed for years and years to come.

They are structured and firm, due to their five hand crafted layers. Recycled rag, dead-stock foam and bamboo batting are hand trussed and steam moulded and sculpted into shape before a cotton calico cover is hand trussed over these three layers. Then the removable covers are put on. The methodical handwork ensures a beautiful, hand crafted shape.
