Keep this in your pack and break it out when it rains to protect your lower half.  You can also spread it out on wet ground for a dry seat.   Multi-functional.

Also, the fabric.  Gotta talk a bit about the fabric. A technique that marries function and artisanship.  Developed as workaround for hand printing on technical fabrics (it's impossible to block print  on water-repellent nylon), each of these is cut from block printed cotton ripstop then overlayed with a featherweight weight nylon ripstop top layer.  When dry, the shell appears solid, but when exposed to rain, the two layers push together, revealing the subtle print underneath.
