This is a pair of unused 1940s or 1950s cotton sheets that are still wrapped with their original ribbon. The label reads “Type 128 Hi-Servis 7 Point Sheets & Pillow Cases 1. Extra Threads 2. Government Standards 3. 10% Heavier Threads 4. Years of Household Use 5. Snow White Linen Finish 6. Certified Laundry Tested 7. Reinforced Selvage Selected Yarns 81x108 Size Before Hemming”. A second label reads “Contents Two Sheets”. These 1950s cotton sheets are unused, but the side edges and the underside have some yellowing, so these would have to be laundered, probably with bleach. The package measures 10 1/2” by 9” by 2” and weighs close to 4 lbs. Excellent quality 1950s cotton sheets - they don’t make textiles like this anymore….
