The outer of our new Val puffer is made out of recycled polyamide an amazing material that comes from recycled plastic bottles. This process is certified by GRS (Global Recycled Standard)  and mastered by specific factories in China that reuse existing materials and make them new again. 

By reusing recycled plastic, we avoid the production process of virgin poly which consumes considerably more water, energy, Co2 and thus, creates more waste. 

The insulation of our Val Puffer is filled with recycled duck down and feathers sourced from old puffers that would otherwise be added to our growing landfills. Oxidized feathers are often disposed of due to darkening over time, but we are able to give them new life. 

Care:

It is important to note that we are using this material for a style that does not need regular washing, if any. A recycled puffer should not be washed with water to avoid the shedding of microplastics. Please dry clean only when necessary.
