This is a vintage 1940s sweater dress that is hand knitted. This 1940s sweater dress is made in a peachy beige colour with white and metallic silver thread banding around the high neck, the cuffs of the sleeves and the waist. The dress simply pulls over the head - there are no other openings than the neck and bottom openings. The dress is knit with vertical ribbing.

Age: most likely 1940s. The lack of a label makes it difficult to date with certainty, but the style, length and general appearance says 1940s to me
Sizing: There is no size label, and although this should fit a medium size, please note the following measurements for fit:
Shoulders: 15” across seam to seam
Sleeves: 23” long, from the shoulder seam
Bust: 29” around unstretched, stretches out to 36”
Waist: 26” around, unstretched, stretches out to 29”
Hips: 32” around, unstretched, stretches out 38”
Overall length: 42“, measured flat
Condition: This 1940s sweater dress is in very good condition, looks like it saw little use.
