This is an authentic 1970s disco tube top, fully covered in glittery gold sequins. The sequins and rickrack are applied to an elasticized knit base and therefore this 1970s disco tube top has stretch to it.
This came from the estate of a shopaholic who loved to have fun. There were a number of these 1970s disco tube tops in different colours as well as a ton of other flashy garments, most of them hardly used as there were so many of them.
Label: Made in Canada CA 01623. 50% acrylic 40% acetate 10% elastic. The CA number belongs to J&G Fashion of Montreal and the Tyvek label is typical of 1970s production.
Sizing: One size fits most is indicated, so this should fit a range of sizes, small to medium to large. It measures 11” high by 11 3/4” wide unstretched - the width stretches to as much as 19” across, or 38” around, max
Condition: This 1970s disco tube top is in excellent condition with no wear, tear, stains or odour, in fact, this tube top looks like it saw little, if any, use, and was very well cared for over the years.
This is a wonderful 1970s disco tube top, authentic disco era, not a recently manufactured one - great for a disco party!
