This is a vintage 1960s pantsuit featuring a striking psychedelic influenced tropical print. The set consists of a top with pants. The top of this 1960s pantsuit is sleeveless, with decorative bows at the top of the shoulder straps and an open back except for a button closure bridge at the upper back. The pants have a zipper closure at the left side and legs that flare slightly to the bottom. Both pieces are unlined.
Label: No label on this 1960s pantsuit - I think that it may have been seamstress made, but it looks manufactured. Very well made.
Color: Blue, green, tan, yellow, orange, purple, brown and white. The colours are very vibrant.
Material: Cotton in a crinkled finish (view close-up photos)
Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this should fit a medium size, please note the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the garment into account:
Top:
Shoulders: 16” across the top
Bust: 38” around, taken under the arm openings
Waist: 34” around
Hips: 38” around
Length: 25 1/2”
Pants:
Waist: 28” around
Hips: 38” around
Length: 37 1/2”
Leg inseam: 27 1/2”
Condition: This 1960s pantsuit is in very good condition with no wear, tear, stains or odours. This outfit looks like it saw very little use and was very well cared for over the years.
