This is a very nice quality fox fur muff dating probably to the 1940s.  It is made in a rectangular shape and has a smocked satin back with zippered compartment built into it as well as a change purse.  One would simply place one’s hands into the open cavity in the middle of the muff to keep warm.  When not using it as a hand warmer, you would carry it on your wrist using the built on strap.

Sizing: One size fits all - 14” wide by 12” high at the satin back, exclusive of any fur hair extending out

Condition: The fox fur muff is in very good condition with no pronounced wear.  The exterior of the change purse is torn at the bottom, but the interior fabric is intact, so still functional
