This is a vintage silk twill tie made in France by Hermes Paris.  This vintage Hermes tie features an intersecting boxes design in violet against a darker purple background.  The pattern number is 5224 IA and it has the Hermes horse and carriage tie loop.  It measures  62” in length and has a width of 3 3/4” at its widest.  It is clean with no noted stains or wear but might require a proper pressing. This is a nice collectible vintage Hermes tie - beautiful quality silk!
