This is an authentic vintage Missoni sweater jacket made as part as the M line.  The M line was introduced in 1998 as a more economical line and made in Italy for Missoni by textile manufacturer Marzotto.  This vintage Missoni sweater jacket was most likely part of a twin set, but would work great to pair with a black dress or outfit.  The fabric is knit with metallic thread throughout.  The sleeves are made in a slight flare to the above the wrist length cuff.  There are loops for a belt, but none is present - a roped belt in metallic or black would work well.  

Material: Content label reads “47% Acetate, 20% Wool Merinos, 19% Viscose, 7% Polyester, 7% Polyamide”. 

Sizing: US size 10 is indicated on the size tag for this vintage Missoni sweater jacket, but please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders: 15 1/2” across from one shoulder/sleeve seam to the other

Sleeve: 21 1/2“ from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve inseam:  16”

Bust: 40” around, with a normal overlap

Waist: 38”, uncinched

Overall length: 27“, measured flat

Condition: This vintage Missoni sweater jacket is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, soiling or odour - this knit jacket looks to have seen little use and has been well kept.
