This is a beautiful quality pair of vintage silk pajamas made by Bonsoir of London.  Bonsoir of London has been producing quality sleepwear since 1926.  The top has a squared collar, pocket at the left chest and does up with five shell buttons down the front.  The bottoms do up with a thick white cotton drawstring and have no fly closure.

Fabric:  Pure Silk.  This is very soft and supple silk, really lovely to the touch

Colour:  Cream white - definitely a yellowish tone

Age:  These vintage silk pajamas date most likely 1960s era

Sizing: The size label on the bottoms reads 42/43C, and although these vintage silk pajamas should fit a large size, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior:

Top:

Shoulders: 20” across shoulder seam-to-seam 

Sleeves: 23 1/4” from shoulder seam

Sleeve Inseam: 20” long

Chest: 48” around, taken under the arms

Waist:  48”

Overall length: 30 1/2“, measured flat at the back from the neck seam

Bottoms:

Waist:  42” around fully stretched, but you would pull the drawstrings to adjust for your size

Length:  40”

Leg inseam:  28”

Condition:  These vintage silk pajamas are in very clean condition - I don’t think that they were ever used, although I can’t say for sure.
