Originating in Poneke Wellington, WOZER began as a friend group of skateboarders who all connected through their shared passions and philosophies, bonding over their mutual experience of underrepresentation in the scene. Naturally, the group has expanded to include surfers, artists and creatives from wider Aotearoa. Establishing itself as a collective through the release of the first WOZER magazine in 2022, the group has received national recognition (woah!). Curated by founding member, Clare Milne.

At its core, Wozer is a platform built by friends, for friends. Crafted with a mission to support, uplift, and inspire like-minded individuals who share similar passions and philosophies. Within these pages, you'll find an array of compelling stories, ambitious projects, and awe-inspiring talents that break down stereotypes and celebrate the uniqueness of skate culture.
