This is a wonderful vintage Linda Laing sweater hand knit with an intarsia pattern of fish. The sweater is made in a cardigan style with a V neckline and a five button closure.
Label: Linda Laing Hand Knitted. Linda Laing was a Montreal based sweater designer. She sold her sweaters through boutiques in the US and Canada, and was discovered by Mila Mulroney, the wife of Brian Mulroney, the then Prime Minister of Canada. Aside from regularly buying sweaters for herself, Mrs Mulroney bought many sweaters as gifts for foreign First Ladies and Heads of State.
Material: No content, but I believe that this Linda Laing sweater is made of cotton or a cotton blend

Sizing: No size is indicated on this Linda Laing sweater, and although this should fit a medium size, please note the following measurements for fit, taking the style of the sweater into consideration:
Shoulders: 15 1/2” across shoulder/sleeve seam - note that the sleeve has a cap, so the actual shoulder width is a little larger
Sleeves: 23” from the shoulder/sleeve seam
Sleeve inseam: 16” long
Bust: 42” around,unstretched
Bottom: 30” around
Overall length: 23“, measured flat
Condition: This vintage Linda Laing sweater is in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, staining or odour. Looks to have seen little use, and was well stored.
