Stunning gown circa 1960's through early 1970's from American designer Mollie Parnis is made out of black raised floral lace. Fitted bodice is sleeveless, has scoop neck, black satin waistband, and peplum-like detail at the hip. Straight skirt is ankle-length and has scalloped hem. Gown is actually made up of two pieces: skirt with attached underbodice along with a detachable overbodice. Both pieces are lined. Bodice has side snap closure and dress has side zipper.
