This is a vintage 1970s blue velvet jacket made in Canada.  This 1970s blue velvet jacket has wide lapels and closes with two buttons down the front.  There are two buttons at either sleeve cuff.  It has a 11 1/2” single kick pleat/vent at the back.  There is a large patch pocket at either side and a pocket at the left chest.  The interior is fully lined and has two pockets.  The velvet is of very good quality cotton.

Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this 1970s blue velvet jacket should fit a medium size, probably a US size 38-40, more likely a fitted 40, please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Condition: This 1970s blue velvet jacket is in very good condition, very clean with no pronounced wear, just slight matting on the sleeves, quite minor.  Otherwise, no tear, staining or other velvet marking - this jacket looks like it saw little use and was well stored over the years.
