This is a fabulous vintage smoking jacket or short lounging robe featuring a pink and blue dash pattern against a blue background.  This vintage smoking jacket has padded shoulders, shawl collar, turned cuffs and has a matching sash belt.  It has a jetted chest pocket and jetted pocket at either side.  It has pads in the shoulders and is lined in a black taffeta-like fabric.

Age: 1940s, maybe very early 50s

Material:  Unmarked, but I believe that it is rayon

Sizing: Size L is indicated, and although this vintage smoking jacket should fit a man that fits a US size 42-44, please rely on the following measurements for fit:

Shoulders: 19” across seam-to-seam

Sleeves: 26 1/2” long

Sleeve Inseam: 19 1/2”

Chest: 49” around, depending on overlap

Waist: 46”, but meant to be cinched

Overall length: 35”, measured flat

Condition: It is in excellent condition with no wear, tear, soiling, staining or odour - this vintage smoking jacket has been very well cared for over the last 70+ years.
