Here's a classic early 1950s swing dress! It's black and made of swirly taffeta with rich black velvet accents. It features cap sleeves, a large collar with functional velvet covered bust buttons, a velvet modesty panel, top pleated skirt that opens to a full twirl, original velvet belt, and metal side zipper. Labeled size 12, feels like heavy taffeta, no stretch, skirt lined. It's in good condition, armpit and sides of skirt are discolored, velvet modesty panel missing snap to keep it in place. The Bust measures 34 inches, 24 inch Waist, Full Hips , and 45 inch length. Shown on a half mannequin measuring B30" W20" H30". This is an authentic vintage piece in wearable condition, that has been cleaned and repaired (if necessary). Flaws will be noted, but please ask any questions you may have as this is a FINAL SALE garment and cannot be returned. All items are measured flat the same way we measure our reproduction items. The maximum measurement is listed. Most vintage fabrics do not have stretch, so please take that into consideration when looking at size.
