This is a vintage Hardy Amies tie that dates most likely to the late 1950s, possibly early 60s.  The fabric is quite fabulous with a raised embroidered pattern in black silk against a brown background.  The tie measures 2 1/2” in width at its widest and 53 1/2” in length.  It is in very clean condition with no wear, tear, stains or odours - this vintage Hardy Amies tie is ready to wear.  This is a very classy tie - sure to be noticed!
