Knickerbocker: Portugal tells the story of our relationship with Portugal after the closing of our factory, located here in New York on the border of Brooklyn & Queens, back in 2018. In Portugal we found what we were looking for: good people and a supply chain, which would allow for a modest brand like ours to develop and make great product. Over the years our relationship with the country has only grown. This book, created with the help of our friends - photographer Chandler Bondurant and designer Oliver Shaw of Friend Editions - celebrates our connection to Portugal and our manufacturing journey as a brand.
