The ‘Muhajir/Immigrant’ tee was inspired by the constant struggles us third culture kids face when identifying ourselves. Where the situation of our feet does not align with the situation of our hearts. In a world where we are always told where we should belong, but our souls cannot consolidate peace with our surroundings. And before we know it, we realise that we have indeed left Home before we have even found it.
And so we are labelled, always: ‘Mujahir/Immigrant’.
