This is a vintage 60s era Scottish mohair shawl or stole made for Canadian department store Simpson’s. The shawl was made in Scotland of a blend of 70% mohair and 30% wool. Beautiful tones of bright yellow and amber brown that give an overall impression of gold, wonderful autumn tones. It measures 38” in width by 72” in length including its pulled fringe at either end, and 66” in length without its 3” fringe. It is in very good condition with no wear, tear or other defect. This is a lovely quality Scottish mohair shawl - lovely colours!
