This is a rather unique item - a vintage cross country skiing money belt that would have been worn by a skier. It looks to date to the 1940s, but may be a little older. This vintage cross country skiing money belt has a small zippered compartment where one would stash money or other small items, maybe keys, while skiing. The belt is made of a tightly woven fabric with leather trim. It is wool crewel embroidered with scenes of skiers and has a double tongue belt closure. The belt has an adjustable length of between 28” and 29 1/4” with a width of 3 1/4”. It is lined in cloth and is in very good condition. It was found in Canada, but may possibly be of Austrian origin. This is a wonderful vintage cross country skiing money belt!
