This is a lovely vintage Gucci silk scarf dating to the 1970s. This vintage Gucci silk scarf is printed with the “Orchidee” pattern, designed by Vittorio Accornero for Gucci in 1974. It has a navy blue border. The floral design consists of various orchid flowers and ferns. “Gucci” is printed at the lower right in a box and the print is signed V Accornero. The scarf measures 34” square. The scarf has an affixed label that reads “Gucci 100% Seta Norma Della Legge 883 Del 26-11-73 Dry Clean Only Cool Iron 100% Silk Made in Italy”. The edge is hand rolled. It is in excellent condition - there is a very slight scent of perfume. A dry cleaning would take care of this issue, although the scarf is perfectly usable as is. This is a very lovely vintage Gucci silk scarf - Gucci quality was exceptionally high during the 1970s!
