This is a vintage Western tuxedo part of Larry Mahans Cowboy Collection.  The jacket of this vintage Western tuxedo is made with a velvet collar and peaked satin lapels, a single link button closure, two button cuffs, V shaped chest and back velvet seams and with a velvet jetted pocket at either side. The fabric on this vintage Western tuxedo is most likely polyester as it is washable.   

Label: Larry Mahan’s Cowboy Collection.  This trademark was filed in 1981 although it may have been in use prior.  The flared leg of the pants looks more 70s to me, so this vintage Western tuxedo may date either to the late 70s or early 80s.

Sizing: Size 40 regular is indicated on the jacket while the pants have a size of 34-36 indicated - please rely on the following measurements for fit (compare measurement with a similar tuxedo that you presently own):

Shoulders: 17 1/2” across from shoulder/sleeve seam to shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeves: 24 1/2” from the shoulder/sleeve seam

Sleeve inseam: 17”

Chest:  44” around

Waist:  40” around

Overall length:  30 1/2”, measured flat at the back from the neck seam

Pants: 

Waist: 34”-36” depending on the adjustment of the sizing tabs

Leg inseam: 29”

Overall length: 39”

Condition:  This vintage Western tuxedo is in very clean condition with no wear, tear, staining or odour - it looks to have seen little use and has been well cared for over the years.
