Our candles are one-of-a-kind pieces that we make out of previously used candles and jars upcycled in partnership with our friends at Happy Beattle. No two will have the exact same coloring or scent, but we do try to group candle waxes by scent and then add additional essential oils to achieve to create scent palates tailored to your preferences.

About this scent: This candle is rejuvenating and meditative.  The main scent comes from a sustainably sourced frankincense essential oil, with undertones of cedarwood and floral elements. Frankincense has a woody, spicy smell and is a resin that comes from the Boswellia tree. This tree typically grows in the dry, mountainous regions of India, Africa, and the Middle East. Frankincense has a rich and long history of medicinal uses, as well as in perfumes and scents. Today, Boswellia habitats are threatened and trading of Frankincense often leads to exploitation. By contrast, we are proud to work with a supplier for our essential oils, Silvan, who ensures fairness and ecological protection across the supply chain. 

We offer a takeback program for our jars! Send us a minimum of 10 jars (can be from our candles or candles from other companies) for $20 credit on our site, and $2 credit for each additional jar.
