Roller skating started at the Rainbo Building in 1980, and we remember nothing but good times at Clark and Lawrence. Rainbo had a long history of entertainment before it became our go-to spot. Although its storied history didn't matter when our roller skates were gliding over the wooden floors. We couldn't wait for its Saturday Night Dance Parties, uniting the community and bringing us new music and dancing. Even though Chicagoans lost Rainbo, our favorite memories can live on with this tee.
