Since its inception in 1941, the US Army 75th Ranger Regiment has proven to be one of the most respected and elite units in the US military. Since World War II, its specialized soldiers — Army Rangers — have served with distinction in some of the most significant military conflicts of modern times.

During World War II, Rangers were instrumental in the liberation of Europe, serving as elite forces in key missions, particularly during the D-Day landings at Pointe du Hoc. Throughout the war, Rangers demonstrated incredible bravery and tenacity, fighting their way through enemy lines and securing critical locations.

The regiment continued to serve with distinction in the Korean War, where its Rangers fought in some of the conflict's most intense battles. They demonstrated remarkable courage and fortitude, regularly serving in highly dangerous situations.

The regiment's contributions to the Vietnam War were equally significant, and its Rangers became known for their bravery and skill in combat. These elite warriors were responsible for some of the war's most critical missions, including reconnaissance and raids behind enemy lines.

In the 1980s and 1990s, the regiment continued to serve as a vital component of the US military, participating in operations around the world. However, it was in the aftermath of the September 11th attacks that the regiment once again demonstrated its unwavering commitment to the nation. 

The regiment played a critical role in both Afghanistan and Iraq, serving in a wide range of roles from combat to intelligence gathering. The 75th Ranger Regiment in many ways became the Department of Defense’s most dependable, mobile, and lethal force, capabale of conducting a full scale of special operations missions to incluide airborne and air assualts in Afghanistan and Iraq, mounted infiltration behind enemey lines, complex urban raids on HVTs, and rsescue operations. By mid-2015, each of the 3 Ranger Battalions had completed its 20th deployment to Iraq and Afghanistan.
