This is a pair of vintage tuxedo tails / formal tailcoat, made by the Montreal manufacturer Fashion Craft Manufacturers Ltd.  Fashion Craft has a place in history due to its efforts, along with the Semi-Ready clothing manufacturing company, to break a general strike by the Amalgamated Clothing Workers of America union in 1916 in the Montreal clothing industry.  In the end the workers won a number of concessions and Fashion Craft continued in business at least into the 1960s.  I’m fairly sure that these vintage tuxedo tails date to the 1930s or 40s due to their general appearance.  They are made in classic form with padded shoulders, faille peaked lapels. no closure, cut away front with six buttons and four faux buttonholes, two buttons at the back and three buttons at either split cuff.  They are fully lined in black satin.  Note that there are no pants included, only the vintage tuxedo tails.

Sizing: There is no size label on these vintage tuxedo tails, and although they should fit an extra small to small size (US size 30-32), please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior:

Shoulders: 16” across shoulder seam-to-seam 

Sleeves: 24” from shoulder seam 

Sleeve Inseam: 17” long

Chest: 35” around, taken under the arms with a normal gap / 17 1/2” across pit-to-pit

Waist: 30” around

Overall length: 45“ at the back, measured flat

Condition: These vintage tuxedo tails are in very good condition with no pronounced wear, tear, stains or odour - they look like they saw very little use, and were very well kept over the years.
